PURPOSE: A device for clamping a disk of a disk driver is provided to exactly hold tight a disk on a turntable in the compacted disk driver and to exactly operate though the disk driver is installed in any direction. CONSTITUTION: A disk(D) is clamped and unclamped by raising/falling a clamper(120) in a supporting plate(106) with a rotation of a clamping driving plate(100). An elastic supporting arm(105) raises and falls the supporting plate(106) by guiding via an inclined face(28) on an upper chassis(20). An elastic pressing ball(110) is installed on the clamping driving plate(100) to always support a clamper(120) toward a turntable. A pressing plate(113) is installed in the center of the elastic pressing ball(110). The pressing plate(113) receives the elasticity by an elastic leg(114). Thereby, the clamper(120) is exactly supported toward the turntable always.
