ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICE

PURPOSE: An electroluminescent device is provided to efficiently transmit light from fluorescent layer not transmitted to a display area. CONSTITUTION: Thin film insulating layers are formed between thick film insulating layers(18) and fluorescent layers(12) while maintaining a pattern. Herein, the insulating layer is formed by alternatively depositing first/second thin film layers having high/low refractive indexes. The first and the second thin film layer are formed by Al2O3/TiO2. In the case of transmitting light from the fluorescent layers to the insulating layer, the light is reflected to the fluorescent layer. Thus, the light from the fluorescent layer to a substrate is used for displaying to improve intensity.
