PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent battery power from being consumed until a power source switch is turned on, so as to prevent a backup power source switch from being forgotten to be turned on. SOLUTION: This equipment comprises a communication control part 2 which controls the communication with the opposite communication terminal and an external terminal device 3 via a telephone line, a line power source part 6 which supplies operation power to the part 2 by the power of the telephone line, a battery power source part 5 which supplies operation power to the part 2 by a battery 4, a battery switch 8 which connects the battery 4 to the part 5 and a battery switch monitoring part 9, which notifies the part 2 of an operation regulation when the switch 8 is at off state. |
