<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for inhibiting the growth of a chute of a plant, hardly exerting bad effect on the rooting and growth of the chute thereafter, hardly requiring a special device and installation, and capable of being readily carried out, and further to provide a method for producing a clone seedling by using the means. SOLUTION: The growth of the chute of the plant is inhibited by culturing the shute of the plant in a growth-inhibiting medium obtained by adding 1-45μM silver nitrate in a medium for propagation. The chute after being cultured in the growth-inhibiting medium is cultured in a medium for rooting to provide the seedling by rooting the chute, and to provide the objective alone seedling.</p> |
