PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power consumption computing equipment and an electric power consumption method of LSI that can carryout an estimate efficiently and accurately. SOLUTION: Tip RC net, which is circuit connecting information adding wiring resistance capacity information with means of analysis of RC net 14, is extracted by separating a combination circuit section from a order circuit section. A logical generating method 15 of the combination circuit section generates information for logical expression of the combination circuit section. A power library generating method 16 of the combination circuit section calculates a definition for electric power consumption of the combination circuit section. A replaced RC net generating method 17 of the combination circuit section generates a replaced RC net that is replaced by making the combination circuit section are block. Behavior simulation is operated and electric power consumption is computed according to tip level input pattern 10 in a electric power consumption practice section 13. It is efficient, as behavior simulation is practiced in a unit of the combination circuit section.
