PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile the quality and the productivity of an electrode manufactured by coating with a rotary screen. SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing the electrode of a battery for forming an electrode active material layer of a non-aqueous electrolyte lithium ion secondary battery by coating a band-shaped base material 1 with the electrode mix coating liquid 2 including an electrode mix by using the rotary screen 3, the viscosity of the electrode mix coating liquid 2 is controlled. The viscosity of the positive electrode coating liquid is 30,000 to 90,000 mPa.S' while that of the negative electrode coating liquid is 40,000 m to 100,000 mPa.S'. |
