PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise from a gear device by reducing vibration or noise caused by the collision of a tooth face of a gear engaging during operating a power tool at no-load or light load, in a transmission passage of the generated vibration. SOLUTION: In a bearing support device journaling a rotating shaft fitted with a gear, a clearance in the radial direction is provided which permits the bearing to make a microdisplacement in the axial direction of the rotating shaft.
