<p>A display suitable for a mobile apparatus, e.g. a portable telephone or a PDA, in which a conventional display can be used without increasing the size of a display of a portable telephone or a PDA, a large and easy-to-view screen is provided without sacrifice of brightness of the screen for the user of the mobile apparatus and the angle of field of the screen is limited so that another person can not look into the screen easily. A magnifying glass, e.g. a Fresnel lens, is disposed in front of a flat display, e.g. a liquid crystal display. The screen is magnified through focusing action of the magnifying glass and the angle of field of the screen of the display is limited by the aberration of the magnifying glass.</p> |
