<p>A reception apparatus that can be used when utilizing content data recorded in an electronic apparatus installed at home or the like by using a mobile terminal at an arbitrary place. A data transfer server (8) verifies access from a mobile terminal (1) via a network (6) and requests for a content list to a fixed terminal (3) installed at a user's home via the network (6). The content list supplied in response to this from the fixed terminal (3) via the network (6) is output to a transmission apparatus (9). Moreover, the data transfer server (8) requests for transmission of a content data selected by a user of the mobile terminal (1) to the fixed terminal (3) installed at the user's home via the network (6) and converts the format of the content data supplied in response to this from the fixed terminal (3) via the network (6), so as to be output to the transmission apparatus (9). For example, the present invention can be applied to a cellular telephone, PHS (personal handy phone system) telephone, a hand-held computer, a car navigation system, and a headphone player.</p> |
