PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize an in-house apparatus without caring a data communication network by connecting a plug 50 to the in-house apparatus with a composite cable. SOLUTION: A distribution board 10 houses a signal cable 9 connected to the communication network and a power cable 3 connected to a distribution line. An in-house distribution breaker 12 is inserted between the power cable 3 and an in-house distribution cable 6. Each of optical repeaters 13A, 13B and 13C has a dual-direction conversion function. The three optical repeaters 13A, 13B and 13C are connected to daisy chains via serial interface cables of IEEE1394, respectively. Optical signal input/output terminals of the optical repeaters 13A, 13B and 13C are connected to an optical fiber cable 7 of the in-house network. The in-house apparatus 70 can be connected to an outlet box 40 of the in-house network.
