PURPOSE: An electrochromic device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to make the electrochromic operation uniform and improve the speed thereof by forming fine holes in the electrochromic material by a predetermined interval, thereby saving the power consumption and improving the images of a display device through the uniform color change. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating an electrochromic device includes the steps of forming a first electrode part on a first glass substrate(S11), forming an electrochromic layer on the first electrode part with fine holes by a predetermined interval(S23), forming a second electrode part on a second glass substrate, and forming an electrolyte layer between the second electrode part and the electrochromic layer(S30). The first and second electrode parts are in the shape of bar or matrix formed in one direction by a predetermined interval. The electrolyte layer is formed in a gap between the electrochromic layer and the second electrode part which face each other on the first and second glass substrates. |
