The safety guide markings (1A,1B,1F) may consist of arrows to guide personnel to exit in building. They may engage a carpet (1D) on the floor and textured coverings on the walls (1C,1E) using spikes, springs or interlocking hook and pile fasteners on the underside of the markings. Individual round plaques or strips with arrows may be used.
