<p>During an operation like a puncture the surgeon has to hold the puncture needle with one hand while guiding the scanner (1) with the other hand. An adjustment, a switch of functions, or the display of relevant data is normally performed using the main device. The new design of a scanning device (1) is fitted with at least two buttons (3, 4) to be controlled by the surgeon. There can be buttons (3, 4) for the control of pre-programmed functions or for functions to be selected from a menu. The two cables (2, 5) can be guided in a shared cover.</p> |
