A fixed bracket (23) at one component e.g. a cover (12), is secured to a fixed bracket (24) at the other component e.g. an instrument panel (14), when bending load acts on either component. One bracket (23) has a V-shaped catch, which seats the guide pin (32) of the other bracket (24).
