PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device capable of decreasing the transfer of oscillation accompanied by operation of a take-up shaft to an immovable site such as a construction skeleton or the like. SOLUTION: In the opening and closing device equipped with an opening and closing body 10 for partitioning or opening a space, the take-up shaft 31 taking up and letting out the opening and closing body 10, a movable member 32 rotatably supporting the take-up shaft 31 and a fixed member 60 fixed to the immovable site, the fixed member 60 movably supports the movable member 32 in the direction of the thickness of the opening and closing body and, at the same time, the movable member 32 is supported through an elastic body 63.
