<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with a fixing device unitized to be attached to/detached from an image forming apparatus main body, wherein air is sprayed and sucked in the immediate vicinity of a fixing position where an image is fixed on paper. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes the fixing device 13 fixing the image on the paper 31 by using a heating roll 23 and a pressure roll 24 and also unitized to be attached to/detached from the image forming apparatus main body, and an air spraying means spraying the air on the surface of the paper 31 on which the image has been fixed at the fixing position of the fixing device 13, and is provided with a duct 32 that is a part of the air spraying means inside the unit of the fixing device 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
