<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for properly reducing power consumption of a wireless terminal connected to a wireless LAN. <P>SOLUTION: When a plurality of wireless terminals (105A/105B) accommodated in a base station (104) of a wireless LAN execute a program using data of point-to-multipoint (P-MP) communication in the wireless LAN, the terminals notify the terminals' own addresses for receiving the data of P-MP communication to the base station (S601). The base station records an address notified from a wireless terminal in association with an address of point-to-point (P-P) communication of the wireless terminal (S602). In addition, when the base station receives the data of P-MP communication to be sent to the wireless LAN (S603), the base station converts a destination of the data into an address of P-P communication corresponding to the destination (S605), and transmits the resultant address to the wireless terminal (S609). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
