<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep evidences for later forcible toll collection from drivers of vehicles which have illegally passed a toll road, at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A toll collection system includes: an imaging apparatus 25b which photographs the inside of a lane to output moving image data with a time stamp; a booth processing apparatus 21 which performs passage processing of a vehicle entering the lane; a vehicle detection device 27 which detects that the vehicle has passed a position of the booth processing apparatus 21; and an image processing apparatus 23 which has a memory capable of storing moving image data of about 30 seconds and cyclically stores moving image data input from the imaging apparatus 25a, within a capacity range of the memory, and gives number information of the vehicle recognized from moving image data in the memory, the time, and preset lane identification information as an index of moving image data and sends them to a lane controller 20 to preserve them in the case that processing of the vehicle is incomplete when the vehicle is detected by the vehicle detection device 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
