PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having a structure securing the stable support and strength retention of cushioning members by fixing support members for supporting the cushioning members at a plurality of horizontal parts of leg bodies. SOLUTION: The leg bodies 13 are attached on the lower surface side of a seat part 11, and the leg body 13 is provided with the horizontal part 16 positioned on the lower surface side of the seat part 11. The cushioning members 21 composed of rubber or the like are attached to the horizontal parts 16 via the support members 20. The support member 20 has a first flat face part 23 for supporting the cushioning member 21 by a wide area, and a second flat face part 25 provided continuously to the first flat face part 23 via an intermediate member 24 in such a manner that the height of the face position is different therefrom. The respective side end parts of the first flat face part 23 and the second flat face part 25 are connected to the outer circumferences of the horizontal parts 16 by a method such as welding, and the second flat face part 25 is fixed to the lower face of the seat part 11 via screws 26.
