PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine incorrect detection of a sensor simultaneously with print density level control for print sheets having different reflectance. SOLUTION: A sensor 21 detects the reflection level (V1 or V2) from various types of print sheet 25 having different reflectance, the reflection level (V0) from a plate 24 guiding the print sheet 25, and the reflection level (V3) from a density mark 26 formed on the print sheet 25. A control section 22 designates a print processing section to vary the print density depending on the reflection levels detected by the sensor 21 or to display an error. |
