Method for draining sludge from a sludge or a pump pit and for transportation of the sludge, in an underground or a railway station, comprising a pipe system which leads to a sludge pit and a pump pit which are situated at a lower level below ground level. Sludge in the sludge pit or pump pit is sucked up with a mobile suction apparatus to a mobile container, wherein the mobile suction apparatus and the mobile container have dimensions suitable for transportation in the existing infrastructure of the underground or railway station, and the mobile suction apparatus and the mobile container are arranged for suction and transportation of the sludge, respectively. The mobile container is transported up to ground level where the sludge is forwarded, with a vehicle, for disposal or processing. |
