METHOD FOR DETECTING CANDIDA ALBICANS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting serum A type and serum B type of Candida albicans. SOLUTION: This method for detecting Candida albicans comprises labeling about 0.9 kb DNA fragment obtained by decomposing whole DNA of Candida albicans with a restriction enzyme EcoO109I and having a restriction enzyme HincII recognition site at the position of about 0.1 kb from one end and bringing the DNA fragment into contact with a sample to be detected as a probe in situ and detecting signals from the above label.
