PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless relay amplifier that can obtain a desired characteristic with inexpensive components without the need for a high performance and expensive band pass filter and a complicated phase synchronization circuit. SOLUTION: In a master station 40, a received radio wave is frequency- converted by a mixer 43 into an intermediate frequency signal, and a synthesizer 48 synthesizes the intermediate frequency signal with a local frequency signal generated by a local frequency oscillator 46 and a temperature compensation means 45 and an electrooptic conversion section 48 converts the synthesized signal into an optical signal. The optical signal is transmitted to a slave station 50 via an optical fiber 30. In the slave station 50, a photoelectric conversion section 51 converts the optical signal through the optical fiber 30 into an electric signal, a branching filter 52 divides the electric signal into an intermediate frequency signal and a local frequency signal, a mixer 55 converts the frequency by using the respective signals, and the resulting signal is amplified by an amplifier section and transmitted. |
