PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid state detection sensor to which a member is welded easily and surely, capable of replacing liquid between a detection part periphery of a liquid concentration detection element and the sensor outside, suppressing generation of violent liquid movement in the periphery of the detection part, and controlling properly liquid circulating in a tip opening of an outside protector. SOLUTION: This liquid state detection sensor 1 includes the outside protector 41, an element 51 having the detection part 510 inside, an inside protector 58 having an enclosing part 581 for enclosing the detection part, and a straightening member 61 for blocking a part of the tip opening OP. A tip circulation hole 58H6 is formed in the inside protector 58, and the straightening member 61 has in a shielding part projection domain PJ, the detection part 510, a shielding part 611 where the enclosing part 581 is positioned, a bridge part 612 extending toward the outside protector 41 therefrom, and a plate-shaped part 613 arranged along the inner peripheral surface 41N of the outside protector 41 in the linking state thereto. The plate-shaped member 613 includes a plurality of weld zones 613W welded in the thickness direction of the outside protector 41 and the plate-shaped part 613.
