PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a magnetic attraction member comprising a magnet or the like easily even afterward on a measuring tape provided with a belt clip to be mounted regularly, and to thereby hold and carry the measuring tape safely with a magnet holder. SOLUTION: The magnetic attraction member 1 to be mounted on the measuring tape side of the magnet holder is constituted of a body member 2 disposed on the outside of a tongue piece 6a for belt engagement of the belt clip 6 in a case 5 of the measuring tape, and a fixing member 3 disposed inside the tongue piece 6a for belt engagement. A female screw post 3c of the fixing member 3 is inserted into a through hole 7 of the tongue piece 6a for belt engagement from the case 5 side, to thereby dispose the fixing member 3 under the tongue piece 6a for belt engagement, and a fixing screw 4 is screwed with the female screw post 3c of the fixing member 3 through a through hole 2b penetrating the body member 2 vertically, to thereby fix the body member 2 to the tongue piece 6a for belt engagement.
