PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly obtain a total amount of coins dispensed from a coin depositing and dispensing device. SOLUTION: The coin depositing and dispensing device 101 includes a coin storing part 84 that stores coins C by denomination, a delivering mechanism 85 that is driven by a first drive part to deliver the coins C in the coin storing part 84 by denomination, a dispensing and conveying mechanism 86 that is driven by a second drive part to conveying the delivered coins C, and a coin dispensing part 88 to which the conveyed coins C is dispensed. The coin dispensing part 88 includes a sliding plane 23 that slides, by the inertia in acceleration, the coins C accelerated by the dispensing and conveying mechanism 86, and holds the slid coins C. A control part of the coin depositing and dispensing device 101 drives the first drive part to deliver the coins C in the coin storing part 84 by denomination corresponding to a dispensing command, drives the second drive part to convey the coins C by denomination to the sliding plane 23 so that a conveying speed is set so that the coins to be conveyed earlier slide in a longer distance, and organizes the coins C on the coin dispensing part 88 by denomination.
