摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a state quantity in a more stable condition by controlling the influence due to the fluctuations in a photographing environment in a colorimetry that uses an electronic image. SOLUTION: The method includes a step of photographing so that color areas 41, 43 for standards and a color area 42 for measuring the state quantity are included in the same image data; a step of calculating the respective color coordinate system indices of the color areas 41, 42, 43; and a step of obtaining the state quantity of the color area 42, based on the respective calculated color coordinate system indices. Hence, by controlling the effect of the photographing condition, more accurate measurements of the state quantity become possible. Also, since the condition of an observed object changing color, according to the condition can be quantified by using an inexpensive photographing equipment that can be used in various situations, use of an optical measuring apparatus, such as, a spectrophotometer which is expensive and of limited use can be dispensed with.
