METHOD FOR EQUAL-CHANNEL ANGULAR PRESSING

摘要

A method for equal-channel angular pressing billets consists in deformation of the billet by simple shear with accumulation of plastic strain by multiple repeating cycles of puncturing the billet with retaining primary shape and size thereof according to a scheme of deformation through a pair of adjacent channels, which are in one plane, intersect and have equal cross sections corresponding to the billet section. Pressing the initial billet is performed through a pair of adjacent channels in one die by multiple cyclic reciprocal displacement of deforming punches.
