PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water level control type bathtub apparatus performing the proper control of the overflow of water, simplifying a bathtub structure, efficiently discharging excessive hot water along with floating fur while preventing the wasteful discharge of hot water to keep cleanliness and controlling the level of hot water by the overflow of water. SOLUTION: A bathtub apparatus 1 wherein a n overflow part for allowing hot water to overflow is provided to a bathtub is equipped with a hot water level control mechanism 25 reducing the operation raising the surface of hot water when the level of hot water in the bathtub is raised by the movement of hot water or bathing operation to reach the overflow part or the vicinity thereof and performing speed reducing control so as to prevent the rising speed of the level of hot water from exceeding the discharge capacity of the overflow part.
