PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission device which can easily impart such a traveling feeling as performing a gear change operation by a manual transition when changing a gear change ratio of a continuously variable transmission stepwise.SOLUTION: A control device possessed by a drive transmission device 2 performs step gear change control for changing a gear change ratio of a continuously variable transmission to a gear change ratio corresponding to a selected gear change stage on condition that a command is inputted for selecting one gear change stage out of a plurality of the gear change stages which are set stepwise with an engagement device CL which is controlled to an engagement state during the traveling of a vehicle as a specified engagement device CL0, and performs engagement control for controlling the specified engagement device CL0 so as to directly connect engagement members from a state that a rotational speed difference between the engagement members of the specified engagement device CL0 is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
