EMERGENCY REPORT APPARATUS USING FOOT STWITCH AND METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are an apparatus for reporting an emergency using a foot switch and a method thereof to solve an existing problem which causes an incorrect report. The apparatus comprises: a foot switch connection unit connected to a foot switch, which generates a hook-off signal through manipulation by foot, to receive the hook-off signal from the foot switch; a phone connection unit connected to a phone to receive the hook-off signal in accordance with a condition of a handset unit of the phone; a detection unit connected to the foot switch connection unit and the phone connection unit to detect the hook-off signal; and a control unit enabling to make a phone call to a designated phone number when the hook-off signal is received from the foot switch connection unit.
