According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device includes a memory in which at least one among a contact list and a call list is stored; a communication module which transmits a telephone number included in at least one among the contact list and the call list to a server and receives relevant business information related to the telephone number from the server; and a control module which estimates a user profile by using at least one among keywords included in the contact list or keywords included in the business information.
