Disclosed is a data processing method based on web page real-time communication. The method comprises: a gateway receiving session set-up request information sent by a first terminal; the gateway combining a first media capability and a second media capability supported by the gateway to form a media capability set, and sending the media capability set to a second terminal; the second terminal analysing the media capability set, and sending response information to the gateway according to an analysis result of the media capability set; and the gateway receiving the response information sent by the second terminal, and selecting a media capability supported by the second terminal from the media capability set according to a capability identifier, such that the first terminal and the second terminal perform web page real-time communication via a network element of the media capability supported by the second terminal. By means of the above-mentioned mode, the present invention can accomplish a media capability negotiation at one time, thereby effectively shortening a media capability negotiation cycle in a communication process. |
