PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable covering tool which achieves improvement of the stability of connection between a shield layer of a power cable and a ground member while improving the workability at a work site.SOLUTION: A cable covering tool 1A covers an end part or a connection part of a power cable 100 and includes: a contact member 31 which has conductivity, covers a shield layer 104 in the power cable 100 in a circumferential direction at least when the cable covering tool covers the power cable 100, and is electrically connected with the shield layer 104; a conductive holding member 41 formed by a curved plate-like body and holding the contact member 31 from the outer periphery side; a cylindrical exterior covering tube 10A which is provided so as to cover the holding member 41 from the outer periphery side; and a ground line 51 connected with the holding member 41 and extending to the outside of the exterior covering tube 10A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
