A display device includes a display panel which includes pixels respectively connected to data lines and gate lines, a driving circuit which controls the display of an image on the display panel and outputs a wake signal having a pulse period according to an operation mode, a backlight unit which provides light to the display panel, and a light source control unit which provides a light source power voltage to the backlight unit. The light source control unit generates the light source power voltage corresponding to the pulse period of the wake signal. So, a flicker can be removed in a lower frequency mode.
