PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take up a medium in a proper tension by stabilizing rotation of a tube in a printer for taking up the medium to a take-up shaft via the tube.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a printing part which prints an image on a first medium; and a take-up part which includes a take-up shaft for holding the tube attached with the first medium and a motor capable of taking up the first medium to the tube by rotating the take-up shaft. The take-up shaft holds the tube by expanding an elastic member disposed on the inner side of the tube with gas pressure and pressing the inner surface of the tube with the elastic member. The motor rotates the take-up shaft in a direct drive method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
