PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a seedling box basket to be taken in/out from front/rear both sides, and to enable a fall prevention operation of an empty seedling box to be performed from front/rear both sides.SOLUTION: A preliminary seedling base 1 of a seedling transplanter 10 comprises: a frame part 4 configured to be capable of placing a seedling box basket C while being engaged therewith for preventing the seedling box basket from moving forward/backward and capable of cancelling engagement to enable the seedling box basket C to be taken in/out from front/rear both sides; and seedling box fall prevention means 2 preventing an empty seedling box N from falling from a front side of the frame part 4 when the empty seedling box is placed. The seedling box fall prevention means 2 includes: a rotation shaft 21 extending in a front/rear direction; a fall prevention member 23 and an operation lever 22 provided on front/rear ends of the rotation shaft 21, respectively; and position switch means 25 configured to be capable of switching a rotation position of the fall prevention member 23. The position switch means 25 can perform switch operation between a fall prevention position P1 of the fall prevention member 23 blocking a front side of the frame part 4 and a retreat position P2 not blocking the front side of the frame part, and the operation can be performed by using any one of the operation lever 22 and the fall prevention member 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
