PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit capable of preventing color reproduction from deteriorating due to use of a transparent color material.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided an information processing unit including: colored coloring material amount data generation means of converting first image data representing a first image to be formed using a colored coloring material into colored coloring material amount data representing a recording amount of a colored coloring material; transparent coloring material amount generation means of converting second image data representing a second image to be formed on the first image using a transparent coloring material into a transparent coloring material amount data representing a recording amount of the transparent coloring material; relief information extraction means of extracting relief information representing the quantity of a relief formed with the transparent coloring material as properties of respective pixels constituting the second image data or transparent coloring material amount data, the colored coloring material amount data generation means converting the first image data into the colored coloring material amount data based on the relief information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
