Aminoacid salts of paracetamol are new. The amino acids are pref. those derived from proteins, such as alamine, glycine, proline, arginine, L-lysine, methionine or cysteine. The aminoacid is dissolved in water and added to the paracetamol, and when clear soln. is obtd. the water is eliminated, usually by lyophilisation. Where the amino acid has a pK similar to that of paracetamol itself, the reaction is effected in the presence of a monoalkaline carbonate or an alkali acetate.
|
