PURPOSE:To realize a correct partial transmission with simple operation, by covering the surface of an original with a trnsparent sheet written with a mark for the partial transmission in order to perform the partial transmission by the mark. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 is placed on an original supporting table 2 with the face upward, and the original is pressed to the supporting table by turning an original pressing cover 3. The cover 3 incorporates with a lighting source, focusing optical fiber element train which forms an image on the first dimensional reading element from a reflected light out of the original. When performing a partial transmission, a transparent sheet 22 for partial transmission where a mark 23 for partial transmission is written, is laid on the reading surface of the original 21. A photoelectric conversion unit in the cover 3 starts from a rapid feeding, performs a regular reading by moving with a specified subscanning speed after detecting the mark and returns to the quick feeding state when detecting the mark again. As mentioned above, only a specific picture in the partial transmission mark is read. |
