The invention relates to a discharge bend (10) for agricultural machines, especially field choppers, which, consisting of an upper and a lower part (11) butting against one another by means of flanges (14 or 15), is rotatable about an upright or especially vertical axis. The mounting of the discharge bend on the machine housing is to be relieved of stress, its interior is to be easily accessible and swinging down by one person is to be possible without particular effort. This is obtained in that there is provided in or near the region of the parting plane (A) of the flanges (14, 15) of the two parts (11, 12), at a distance below this, a horizontal pivot axle (18) which is mounted on the lower part (11) by means of a jib (19) and on which the upper part (12) is mounted pivotably by means of a jib (20). It proves to be further advantageous if the discharge bend (10) is mounted with its lower part (11) pivotably relative to the machine housing (4) about a horizontal axis (24) and is mounted with its upper part (12) via a strut (26) in an articulated manner on a supporting mast (21) fastened to the machine housing (4). <IMAGE>
