PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal body which permits gap control necessary for assuring the stable quality of an image by interspersing a gap material on the picture element electrodes in a display part as well. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display body consists of an upper substrate 1 coated thereon with a transparent electrode, an MOS transistor and capacitor, etc. 4, a lower substrate 3 formed with a passivation film 5, a sealant 6 compounded therein with a gap material 7, and a liquid crystal 8. The material 7 is interspersed on the image display part by an ink jet system with freon or the like as a solvent, whereby the liquid display body which permits gap control to + or -0.5mum necessary for assuring the stable quality of the image is obtd. |
