PURPOSE:To obtain a reliable ion selective electrode having a flat surface of an ion selective film without causing the residence of bubbles are remaining of a sample on the surface of the film by adhering the ion selective film adjusted previously to the uniform film thickness to the surface of the electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:An electrode plate 12 connected with a lead wire 14 is inserted into a hollow electrode body 11. An ion selective film 33 having 100-500mum thick flat surface is formed using ion selective material and org. polymer by e.g. a dissolution molding method, or a melting pressure method. As for the ion selective material, in cases of Na<+>, K<+> and Cl<->, monensin, barinomycin, and quarternary ammonium salt are preferably used respectively. As to the proportion of the quantity, 0.5-30wt% ion selective material is added to the org. polymer (e.g. PVC, polyurethane, silicone rubber or the like). The obtained ion selective film is cut down to a prescribed size in accordance with necessity and fixed to the outer surface of the electrode plate 12 by adhesion. |
