PURPOSE:To stabilize operation and to facilitate assembling by providing a speed change operating apparatus where paired speed change operating portions are disposed symmetrically about a specified plane, and speed change rings of the respective speed change operating portions are moved in the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:An input transmission wheel 8 is engaged with a circular transmission surface 7 concave in section in a conical rotor 6 of the first speed change operating portion 3. An input transmission wheel 11 is engaged with a circular transmission surface 10 concave in section in a conical rotor 7 of the second speed change operating portion 4. The input transmission wheels 8, 11 are integral with a gear 13 engaged with a gear 12 on an input shaft 1. An output transmission wheel 16 is engaged with a flat circular transmission surface 15 of the above rotor 6. An output transmission wheel 18 is engaged with a flat circular transmission surface 17 of the above rotor 9. The output transmission wheels 16, 18 are put in a body with an output shaft 2 through contact pressure generating devices 19, 20. The first speed change ring 21 and the second speed change ring 22 are moved in such a manner as to give the same speed change operating portions 3, 4 by a speed change operation rod 25 having screw portions 23, 24 threaded in the opposite direction to each other. |
