PURPOSE:To perform high and uniform kneading of resin, by a method wherein reaction force to be generated according to a rotation of a screw is detected by a load cell and driving force of the screw in an axial direction is controlled on this detected value. CONSTITUTION:At the time of measuring, a screw 11 is moved backward by reaction force of resin stored at the tip of a barrel 13 and an electric motor 22 for a movement of the screw in an axial direction. Resultant force of these two backward movement force are detected through a load cell. A detected value is applied to a comparator 33 after being divided by cross-sectional area of the inside diameter of the barrel 13 and converted into a pressure unit by an arithmetic unit 32 after being amplified by an amplifier 31. The value applied to the comparator is compared with that preset in the comparator and when the deviation value is generated, a control signal is amplified by an amplifier 35 and sent to the electric motor 22 through a driver 36. Output of the electric motor 22 is controlled to a value suitable for the deviation value. Then uniform and high kneading of resin is always possible.
