PURPOSE:To always discharge a fixed amt. of paste from a syringe irrespective of the remaining amt. of paste by controlling the time for energizing a discharge solenoid valve in accordance with the amt. of paste remaining in the syringe. CONSTITUTION:The syringe 2 filled with paste 1, etc., and an air source 8 for supplying positive-pressure air to the syringe 2 are connected to the discharge solenoid valve 3 respectively through pipelines 4 and 5. The pressures in the pipeline 4 and 5 are measured respectively by pressure sensors 17 and 18. In the control part 23, the measured pressures of the pressure sensors 17 and 18 are inputted, a voltage signal for operating the discharge solenoid valve 3 at the start of discharge to communicate the pipeline 4 to the pipeline 5 is outputted, and the output time of the voltage signal is controlled, based on the difference in the time needed for the pressure measured by the pressure sensor 17 to reach the preset pressure, after the pipeline 4 and the pipeline 5 communicate with each other. As a result, a fixed amt. of paste can always be discharged irrespective of the amt. of paste remaining in the syringe.
