PURPOSE:To use a transformer of other power supply circuit in a short time under the overload safely in case of a fault of one power supply circuit by calculating the characteristic of a transformer such that how much time, how much overload or how many temperatures the transformer is to be in operation and stopping the use if the transformer cannot withstand even the use for a short time. CONSTITUTION:A short-time operation arithmetic means 4 calculates such that how much time an overload is in use, how much time the load is increased or decreased or how much load is decreased to continue the operation for a desired time in case of a short-time overload to the transformer and the result of operation is displayed on a supervisory data display means 5. On the other hand, a circuit control means 6 uses the transformer as long as possible and the power receiving circuit breaker is controlled to stop the use of the transformer when the transformer cannot withstand the load even for a short time. Thus, the other power supply circuit is used safely under an overload in a short time at a fault of one power supply circuit in the parallel power supply circuit.
