A cord fastener (10) for use on garments, bags, hats and the like, is molded of synthetic resin into a multi-component yet integral structure. The fastener has a guide-channel (12a, 12b) for the passage of a strap (S) or the like and a locking means (23) movable into and away from a plane of the guide-channel to lock and release the strap. This movement is effected by elastic deformation of a portion (29) of the fastener body through the medium of a plurality of apertures (14, 14 min , 16, 16 min and 25). |
