PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition effective in hastening the weaning of young animal and ameliorate the underdevelopment caused by the weaning stress by adding a medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride to an artificial milk for young animal. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by adding >=0.5wt.% (preferably 0.5-20wt.%) of triglyceride of a 6-10C medium-chain fatty acid (e.g., caprylic acid) to an artificial milk for young animal. |
