<p>PURPOSE:To execute the tension control irrespective of the speed of a tape and its winding thickness by providing a filter means for filtering an output of a rotation detecting means of a reel, and a reel driving means for applying the torque being proportional to its output to the reel. CONSTITUTION:At the time of holding a tension value applied to a tape 1 constant, it will suffice that the torque being proportional to a radius of a reel 3 containing the tape winding thickness is applied to the reel 3. A rotating state of the reel 3 is converted to rotational information through a rotation detecting means 4. The tape 1 is driven at a constant speed by a tape driving means 2, therefore, from an output of the means 4, information related to the radius of the reel 3 is obtained. By a filter means 5, information being proportional to the radius of the reel 3 is outputted from the output of the means 4, and converted to the torque by a reel driving means 6. Since this torque is proportional to the radius of the reel 3, tension applied to the tape 1 becomes constant irrespective of the radius of the reel 3.</p> |
